May 2010 Event: Guest appearance on BBC Radio 2’s Mark Lamarr show

Broadcast on May 29th from 00:00 - 3:00, Sharon will be performing in the Gods Juke Box Sessions on BBC Radio 2’s Mark Lamarr show, as a featured guest vocalist with Dublin soul band SuperTonicSoundClub. An episode link to the BBC iPlayer will be posted here thereafter.

April 2010 LFP Project: ‘The Wind In The Willows’ Audiobook

Narrated and produced an audiobook of Kenneth Grahame’s classic tale ‘The Wind In The Willows.’ (Unabridged) Composed a classical opening theme and added sound design. “I loved writing character themes for Mole, Ratty, Badger & Toad. This book was one of my favourites as a child, so I tried to emulate the warmth and affection of their friendship in the main theme and I had a lot of fun characterising their voices when narrating!” SG

March 2010 Client: LA Talk Radio

Composed, wrote, performed & produced a jazzy, R&B jingle package including: theme tune, instrumental bed, short ID & segment stings for Max & Friends - a live, lifestyle talk radio show. “They wanted a sultry and ‘Sade-esque’ theme with a chilled, late-night vibe. So I gave the production an R&B feel, with jazzy vocal harmonies in the ‘chorus’ of the theme tune.” SG

February 2010 Client: Proactive Media Group

Composed, wrote, performed & produced a dance / pop theme, for the opening titles of a television pilot. “I really enjoyed writing this ‘feel good’ lifestyle-makeover show theme. It was very important to the producers for the lyrics to be uplifting and speak to the power of individuals to transform themselves for the better; so that’s where Believe came from.” SG

January 2010 Clients: First Light Movies | Somerset Film | YPFC

Music director & composer, arranger, producer of a classical score for the film The Apothecary - a 19th century Period Drama inspired by Robert Browning’s poem ‘The Laboratory.’ “I was thrilled to be given this dark, gothic, mythic fairy tale to score! It was a gift to be given such a strong story; to convey an almost operatic scale of powerful emotions musically.” SG
